Just a quick post, because I want to share something that happened last night. Remember my most recent post about Raising Your Vibration? Well, the coolest thing happened last night: (ps- go check out that post if you haven’t, it provides some background for the story I’m about to tell.)
I was at the yoga studio, just tidying up some things, walking around the place. And I walked past a group of folks who had just come out of a Tai Chi class. I smiled as I went past and gave them the requisite, “Hi y’all, how are ya tonight?” (I’m southern, okay?) And then this woman, who wasn’t even facing me or looking at me, asked, “Are you feeling joyful tonight?” I paused. Turned back around to face the group. Thought about the question briefly and answered with a smile, “Yeah. I guess I am feeling joyful.” And the woman said, “You’re glowing. I could feel it.”
Y’all, this woman could feel my energy as I walked past her. How cool is that?! She didn’t say she could see me glowing, or that she could hear it in my voice. She said she could feel it. And she felt my joyful glow strongly enough that she felt compelled to ask me about it.
Are You Glowing?
If you had walked past that woman tonight, would she have asked you if you’re feeling joyful? Is your energy glowing?
Here’s your challenge: Do something that makes you joyful. Like, do it NOW. Or at least today. Don’t wait until the weekend, or until next week. Get up and do something that will make your energy glow. Even if it’s just a 60 second dance party in your office (60 second dance parties are my FAVORITE). Or maybe take it a little further and put yourself out there and try something new (see my thoughts on the joy in trying something new, here). Whatever it is, give yourself permission to revel in the joy of it.
Let’s get glowing, friends.
This is awesome! Such great advice and succinct!!
Literally just held a mini dance party after reading this. Thanks so much for the inspiration, and what a cool experience!
Challenge accepted! I’ll sing my heart out later! ha!
This is awesome, if I walked passed that little she would even think to say that to me. Instead, she would ask why is your face cast down?. Thank you for giving me an extra push to break up of my funk.
beautiful post xx
This post is so beautiful and inspiring! It’s so amazing that we can FEEL when someone is full of joy.
Have a wonderful week! 🙂

What a great reminder that doing something for yourself doesn’t have to take a lot of time.
How lovely of her to notice! Feeling joyful radiates out of you and changes others.
Wow!! I’d love to be someone with such a positive energy that people around me can feel it!
